8 June Gigha...sister island to the Maldives!

We have been super lazy today and done nothing but chill. A lovely, secluded bay to wait out a windless day.

I hope these photos do the sea and beach area justice, because they are so clear and the colour of the white sand and the soft turquoise of the sea could mean that you are paddling in the waters of the maldive islands. We have been so lucky with the sun here in the islands of Scotland and it truly is a magnificent country.
I left John to do some admin on our electronics and went ashore to use the showers. Hardly any cars and green fields with some baby calves made the 5 minute walk to the hotel blissful.
On the return I passed the American tourists that had come ashore from their Cruise liner that you can see in our photos. She is called the Hebridean Princess.

I am glad to return to our own royal cruiser....BitterSharp.

John has checked the tides and we will be setting off for Ireland at 18h. A night passage and our hopes are high that we will have some wind to set sail with.  See you tomorrow.
