11 June Abersoch...New Crew

Today dawned brightly...hurray, no fog and the gorgeous scenery that John had remembered from his racing days of the Laser 4000

A great day for us as we were picking up our friends Craig and Sandra Broadley from Pwllheli. They had started their day at silly o-clock to take numerous trains to get to us, while John and I enjoyed a leisurely full English breakfast at the club and a short 40 minute motor to the marina in Pwllheli.
Unlike Holyhead, they charged us zero for a short stay, which was very kind of them.
We hosed the boat down and spruced her up for her new crew and then after buying more healthy provisions from Asda....crisps, beer and cornish pasties with not a vegetable in sight, I headed back to the boat and John met our friends at the station.
It was so fab to meet them again and catch up on their happenings in Saudi and to show off our beautiful Catamaran and remember the long voyage we all did together when we sailed our motor boat Athina from Greece to Jeddah.  Good times indeed.

Oh well, more beers to drink and the new guests to be introduced to the Commodore and off we went in the tender to the club.

Another delicious meal at the yacht club and back to BitterSharp to rest for our journey tomorrow, maybe as far as Falmouth. We will see....
